This research aims to find out how much teacher competency is related to the performance of religion teachers in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Bekasi city. This research is quantitative research with a correlation approach. The population of this research is all religious teachers at MAN in Bekasi City, namely Man 1 and Man 2, Bekasi City. The sample in this study was 20 religious teachers from 2 State Madrasah Aliyah (MAN) in Bekasi City, using a sampling technique, namely a census technique in which the entire population was sampled. Data collection in this research was by using a non-test instrument, namely a questionnaire using a Likert scale for variable X and variable Y. The results of data analysis used the SPSS version 25 statistical test. The normality test produced a value of 0.114 > 0.05 so that a decision could be made that the data was normally distributed. The coerlation test produces a value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that the data is correlated with a close relationship of 0.960, which means that the variables x and y are very strongly related and a coefficient of determination (R square) value of 0.921 is obtained, which means that 92.1% of the relationship is between teacher competence. with teacher performance and the rest is influenced by other variables. The results of the T significance test are t_count 14.467 > t_table 2.101, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the research results it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between teacher competence and the performance of religion teachers in MAN Bekasi city.
